Day 19 

Today I'm in the elementary school with my students 3 and 4 grade for presentation about Thailand. We made it about our capital city, food, transportation, culture and arts in Thailand. The end of the the event dance (Thai dance)together with all students and teachers. We asked  them some questions and gave them some souvenir from Thailand. Today was so fun with very nice people. 

Day 17-18

    Theses days of observation in classes are leading by Ms.Cholis an English teacher. I found out that the students in each class is so different. Some are so active in the lesson but some not. There are some of them in class just sleep during a lesson I don't know why but the teacher still can cheer them up and make them more attention to the points. I think that's so challenging for teachers. 

Day 16 

    Today I went to school of Ms. Cholis MUMA 8. It's junior high school. My first impression here is the teachers are nice even though I come here just for two times. They talk and laugh to each other for me it's so cool. 

     Now I'm a bit confusing about my students of three schools. In the classroom the teacher let they ask me about Thailand and culture of us. They want me to exchange views between Thailand and Indonesia. What is the difference and what's the same. They gave me many questions about Thailand even about my life that's so funny. Love it. 

      

Day 15 

    I must say I was so afraid and excited for junior high school teaching. Today is my first day, New teachers , New students and New desk.
     I have Ms. Cholis here. She is an English teacher. I know that she doesn't want me to feel afraid so she always talks to us and make me feel more comfortable in teacher room. In our first day I just had to introduce myself to my students and let them ask about Thailand and our culture and I have to say thank you to them that makes our classes fun today. 

Day 14 

     Today we and the teacher go to Battawee's village. First time we wanted to watch some shows in the village but when we're arrived it just finished. That's so unlucky. One thing that makes today's trip so boring is because of me. I really don't feel good. I have a cold and stomachache I don't know why but that makes the trip over. I'm sorry teacher.  

Day 13

    Today I have an appointment with my friend Amelia to go to the old city in Jakarta. They take me and friend from our apartment at 8.15 because they don't want to stuck on the jam traffic. However we are still in the Jakarta traffic so we stuck again. 

   We go to Kota Tua the place where have two of museums there are the Dutch government museum and the traditional Indonesian dolls made from wood I don't remember that's so bad. The Dutch museum make me know that in the past of Indonesia they were governed by the country for a long time. Everything in the museum is real but still beautiful. Love it. 

     

Day 12

    Today is the last day in elementary school. We have a breakfast with the principal. We talk about how I feel in these two weeks teaching. I told him that I'm so appreciate for being here and the students are so nice. The teacher team takes care of us so well. 

      Actually I don't have classes today but today we have a special class. It is makeup class for female teachers. Then we join in teacher meeting. Regarding today is the last day, so we have to say something to everyone. Every time I have to say something like this I must say my  first impressions about teachers and students here. Every teacher in school is always nice to me since first day until last day. The students make me feel like I'm a real teacher. They always respect to me, never make me  feel like I'm the air in classrooms. They always have a talk with me and friend so that's why I love this school.
